31 Days of Proverbs, A Gift for You
When I was a little girl, there used to be a little plastic box (that looked like a loaf of bread) sitting on my kitchen table. It was full of cards that I would pull out and read while I was eating breakfast. Each card had a different Proverb on it. Those were some of the first scriptures I remember reading on my own. I have always loved the Proverbs. They're straightforward, practical, and all about wisdom.
I was thinking about that box of cards from my childhood the other day when I got the idea to make something for you, dear readers, a free printable booklet with Proverbs. I've combined my love of designing graphics with my love of scripture in a way that I hope will be useful to you.
31 Days of Proverbs, Journal uses scriptures from Proverbs, a book of the Bible that’s packed with practical wisdom for everyday life.
This printable booklet is designed to encourage meditation and/or memory work on one scripture each day of the month. The blank lines may be used to record your own thoughts and prayers.
If you’re like me, you may find that copying the scriptures in your own handwriting is a useful tool to aid in memorization. There’s room for that on these pages.
Print these pages, cut in half, and staple together to make a booklet. Or, print, cut out the graphics and tack them up somewhere to remind you of God’s precious truths as you go about your day.
However you choose to use this resource, I pray that it will be an encouragement to you as you soak in the wisdom of the Proverbs.
I enjoyed making this journal for you. I appreciate you and I don't take it for granted that you take precious time from your day to visit this space. You encourage me with your presence, whether you choose to comment, or whether you prefer to stay quiet. You are loved. I consider it a great privilege to be able to share what I'm learning about trusting God with you. Please feel free download and use this free printable however you like. I'm thinking of printing out a few copies and giving them as gifts. I added washi tape to make a "binding" and dress the book up a bit. I simply ask that if you share the file, please link back to this post.
This journal is in The Library along with several other free printables and downloads. If you're not a Library member, simply add your email to my monthly newsletter list.
